A Portfolio Built
to Endure.
Each subsidiary operates independently with its own leadership, brand, and market focus — unified by shared values and a long-term capital commitment.
The Problems We
Chose On Purpose.
Each subsidiary was started because a specific Nigerian problem was being under-served — not because the market was easy. Here is what we're building across, and why.
Most Nigerians can't get a loan without collateral or a long banking history. SMEs stall for want of working capital.
Zerne Capital uses real income data to responsibly underwrite consumer credit, SME capital, and trade finance — broadening access without compromising discipline.
Most fintech and enterprise software built elsewhere doesn't fit how Nigeria actually operates, regulates, or transacts.
Zerne Technologies builds API-first platforms and SaaS designed for the African operating environment — not adapted to it.
Nigeria faces a multi-million-unit housing shortfall, concentrated along the corridors where demand is growing fastest.
Zerne Properties starts with land banking — securing land along Nigeria's growth corridors — and, alongside our sister company and partners, plans to develop residential and commercial units there that help close the country's housing gap.
Patient Capital.
Purposeful
Building.
We don't manage for quarters. We build institutions designed to outlast us — with the governance, capital discipline, and talent to do so.
Solving Real
Problems at Scale.
Nigeria's most persistent economic challenges — access to credit, lack of digital infrastructure, housing deficits — are exactly the markets we've chosen to address. Not despite the difficulty, but because of it.
Lagos-Today.
Africa-Bound.
We're headquartered in Lagos and building there for now — proving the model at home first, with a Pan-African expansion mandate that follows the same disciplined, long-term approach.
Lagos
Our home market and the base from which every subsidiary is built and proven before it travels.
Pan-African expansion mandate
Each subsidiary is built to travel. Once a model is proven in Nigeria, it expands into African markets facing the same structural gaps — the same patient capital, the same long-term governance, applied market by market.
